Cinthol is a legendary brand of bathing soap and breathes the philosophy of "Alive is Awesome" while catering to a young audience. It's all about exploring the great outdoors, a perfect fit for World Environment Day.
The theme that year was "Connecting People to Nature".
But our audience was occupied with mindless scrolling and online shopping. Many a #naturelover was trying to replicate the feeling of being in nature while sitting on their couches.
We observed this behaviour and decided to have some fun. And just like that (in Carrie's voice), Almost Outdoors was born!

Now, a fake company needs fake products to sell. So, the nonsense products that I created were put out as enticing, colourful ads.
Once the user clicked, they were taken to a corresponding video of the environment the product was trying to "replicate". The ultimate messaging was simple - This World Environment Day, #ConnectWithNature.
Unfortunately, the ads don't link to the respective videos anymore due to updates to the client site. But I have attached the videos after.
Then, we made a gimmicky 'GIF' ad, using one of the products. The response was amazing. We linked this to a video which had all the different environments in it together. This click takes you to YouTube since we decided to go for a faster-loading player for this one.
